Make a Donation
There are a number of ways to consider how much you will donate and where you want to direct your contribution. *(Of course you can donate any amount and trust us to place that donation where it is needed at the time).
Fifteen dollars gets a book into the hands of a reader!
Twenty five dollars provides funds for someone that has an  addicted loved-one to receive a  portion of a session with an experienced therapist or a portion of an extra-curricular activity.
Fifty dollars funds a portion of a session with an experienced therapist or contributes to the grant funds for participation in activities outside of school.
One hundred dollars funds books or student activities of choice.
Two hundred dollars funds a portion of an after school activity, a weekend event, or camp for a COA. (Child of an Addict!)
Five hundred dollars funds a day of prevention in the schools. This program includes a interactive prevention program with groups of students, a pizza lunch with students that want to meet with the speaker and discuss the topic of substance abuse, meetings with teachers and counselors.
One thousand dollar donation funds a two semester program in a school where over 100 students will participate in the Changing Lives--Saving Lives through Literature program and then through after school volunteerism, art, theatre and leadership training become young preventionists in their school and community. (Imagine the numbers of young people that will understand the risks of opioid medication and will communicate that to peers and the community!)
Three Thousand Dollars makes it possible for three schools to participate in the 'pilot program' of Changing Lives--Saving Lives through Literature"  in the language arts classroom with student theatre, art, and leadership in preparing prevention programming for the entire school. The students become young preventionists!
Twenty-five thousand dollars or more makes it possible to assemble a 'Harm Reductionist' convention--pay for travel and accommodations of keynote speakers, food, administration costs, and space rental so that groups of politicians, state officials, journalists, teachers, counselors, therapists, medical professionals, activists, family members and other interested parties can share their 'harm reduction' work and then collaborate to envision solutions that will reduce harm in the opioid crisis.
*The Lotus Educational Group has an accepted 501 (c)(3) status. Any amount that you donate will be carefully distributed and utilized to successfully attain the goals of this organization.
